Daredevil 6

After being kicked out a boat by bruiser in the previous issue, Daredevil ended up underwater. Quick reflex enable daredevil to hook his weapon on to the getaway boat where bruiser has abducted Randall. Bruiser brought Randall to the Midas base where all the leaders of criminal organization gathered from AIM to Hydra. Just as Randall and Austin is about to be executed, Daredevil barged in and gave bruiser a kick. But bruiser is no villain to go down easily and outmatched Daredevil on every step.

Daredevil got a beating again but once again his super sense comes into play and a swift move disabled bruiser permanently. Meanwhile the head of Midas retrieved the omega drive that contains all the data on all the criminal organization. The terrorists decides to take advantage of the situation and goes after daredevil and the drive. Daredevil get drive from the Midas boss just as the terrorists arrived and killed him. A complicated persuasion from Daredevil prevented another showdown with the terrorists and Daredevil walked out of there with Austin and Randall unscathed. With the omega drive in his hand, Daredevil is going to have his hands full as the terrorists will do whatever they can to get their hands on it. Maybe in another few months.

Daredevil 5

There are more explaination about why Daredevil's new client Austin is being targeted by big massive criminal organization. But first Daredevil saves Austin from a bunch of hitmen trying to knock him off. Daredevil without much of a sweat disabled the hitmen. Daredevil hides Austin for the moment at his apartment where its safe and proceed to do some investigating. But not before the Latverians contacted a back up plan of some one called Bruiser.


Daredevil tracks down Austin's boss at a boat and he revealed that all the criminal gangs from Hydra to AIM is doing money laundering through Latveria. Before long Daredevil got an uninvited guess and Bruiser drops in on the boat in a loud and thunderous manner. Daredevil unable to fend off the intruder and was kicked out of the boat literally into the sea. Looks like Daredevil is in for a long swim if he is to make it.

Daredevil 4

Daredevil starts off in a zoo's lion cage. He is trying to retrieve something and he has a great strategy to do so. The multiple panes on the first two pages nicely illustrate this. Before long the lions sensed and pounced on him. Daredevil uses his acrobatic skills to evade two male lions and escaped with some minor cuts. The thing that Daredevil retrieved is a pen drive and why he did so is that it contains evidence in a criminal case involving a mob bos.


It seems that Matt has been secretly coaching helpless people to defend themselves against the mob and other injustice in the court. The pen drive Daredevil retrieved helped a storeowner in a case against a mob bos. Pretty sneaky way of helping the people. A new story arc is also underway as Daredevil accepts a new case from a man that is blind. The man named Arthur claims he has been fired unjustifiably from his job after overhearing some conversation of two Latverians. Arthur is a highly talented guy who is a translator of a lot of different languages. So Matt is trying to piece together as to why it is such a serious offence when overhearing is concerned. Unknowingly his conversation with Arthur and all his moves are being watched from a far. Looks like Daredevil has stepped on danger ground by helping this guy. This issue sees a new artist on board but there's not much difference compared to previous three issue as the style is quite the same.

Daredevil 3

Daredevil are all trapped in some contraption. The beings that put him there are sound waves and the villain behind is Klaw who was transformed into living sound and has fought with the Fantastic Four in the past. The villain is a bit weird from the way of its appearence, part humanoid part sound. A bad mix up I say.

As Daredevil tries to break out of the contraption, he distracted Klaw by asking lots of question of how Klaw ended up there in some shop basement. Klaw narrates that he was part of the sound shadows of the original Klaw. I guess they can be divided into different entities with different consciousness. This sound shadow managed to escape the avengers in a fight last time and seek refuge in the basement. It build up device with some help and managed to locate the original Klaw's signal to recreate itself.

Daredevil managed to break free finally by yelling out real loud stunning Klaw and the shadows. As Daredevil make a run for it the sound shadows chased after him. The battle between Daredevil and Klaw leads to a highway and Daredevil was lucky not to get hit by passing vehicles. Daredevil managed to gain upper hand as Klaw is getting weaker and disposed of Klaw mercilessly but before getting to know who actually helped Klaw to reassemble itself. Surely the one who helped Klaw will resurface to bug Daredevil later in the future.

Daredevil 2

Daredevil and Captain America has a brief scuffle in the initial story. Seems Captain America is pissed of what Daredevil has done to smeared cap's name in the past and cap is trying to bring Daredevil in. But all ends well as both our heroes talk it out in the end as any civilized superheroes would have been. Worth looking again the acrobatic fight between these two old friends.

Daredevil proceeds to sniff around the Jobrani case in the previous issue and interrogate a litigator who rejected handling the case. The litigator was harassed by some one. More question marks on Daredevil's mind. This brings him to a building where this Jobrani person has been operating as a shopkeeper. Daredevil poke around inside the building and has the shocking finding of discovering glowing metal like robots underneath it. Touching these metallic robots proved hazardous as Daredevil are quickly surrounded by these beings. Daredevil's getaway failed when these robots emits ear splitting sound that disrupts Daredevil's senses. Before long Daredevil is subdued. On the last scene Daredevil is all trapped in a contraption fixed by the robots. A nightmare case too hard to handle for Daredevil.

Daredevil 1

The new relaunch of the daredevil title by new creative team penned by Mark Waid. The story starts with daredevil travels to a mansion where a wedding between two mob families is taking place. Apparently daredevil receive news that there is going to be a hit at the wedding. But instead of a hit, it was an attempt to kidnap a little girl by a villain named 'spot'. Spot has teleportation capabilities that enables him to appear anywhere through black holes. Daredevil thwarts all attempts of spot to kidnap the girl and daredevil using his sixth sense points out the inside man that hired the spot. Spot killed off the inside man and daredevil managed to bring down spot. Its sad to see Spot only lasted around four pages with Daredevil. With his power, Spot could have done a lot more damage. I mean the guy can appear anywhere he wants and disappearing. Daredevil even managed to plant a kiss on the bride before kicking spot's ass. There's a new sense of humor in daredevil now.

Daredevil/Murdoch next receives a case of police brutality on a fellow muslim shopkeeper. But all his strategies to defend his new client ends up with the prosecutor using Murdoch's daredevil alter ego to win the case. In the end the case was thrown out and retrial is needed. Later the new assistant district attorney tips off Murdoch that there is more than meets the eye in the case trial as nobody wanted to represent the shopkeeper previously.

Murdoch proceeds to investigate further into the case. The story ends in a cliffhanger as daredevil is cornered by anti radar material shot from someone disrupted his senses. Being completely blind of his senses, daredevil is about to get hit by what looks like captain america's shield from behind.
